Are you in the final stretch of your Hyundai lease?

It's important to know your options as you prepare to reach your lease expiration date. The Burlington Hyundai team is here to help you choose your best option and keep the process speedy and simple.

First, prepare for vehicle for lease return.

Examine your vehicle for possible excessive wear and tear and make any necessary repairs -- otherwise it may cost you a surcharge upon your lease return. If you do think your vehicle has excessive use, be sure to contact us, and we'll provide you with a complimentary inspection. You will want to do this 15 to 60 days before your lease maturity date.

Option 1:

Purchase your Hyundai

Simply turn in your Hyundai
Below is a step-by-step guide to help you with the lease turn-in process.

Turning In Your Hyundai

These instructions will help ensure returning your Hyundai is easy and efficient. 

1. Prior to your lease-end date:
Contact Burlington Hyundai to make arrangements for the return. We offer leased vehicle pick-up at no extra cost to you. 

2. On your turn-in day:

Make sure your vehicle is ready to turn in. 
  • Remove all personal items. 
  • Place the owner's manual in the glove box. 
  • Turn in both sets of keys to your vehicle. 
  • Remove the license plates and return them to your state's motor vehicle department unless you live in a state listed.

3. Within 1 business day after returning your vehicle: 

Inform Hyundai Finance of your turned in lease vehicle by calling  1-855-463-5378 Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Eastern)

4. If you have set up automatic lease payments: 

Please remember to cancel any recurring payments you may have for your Hyundai lease.
